The iconographic group Tse Lha Nam Sum consists of three figures: Amitayus, Usnisavijaya, and White Tara. Amitayus (Infinite Life) is the central figure in the group, depicted as the Buddha of longevity and placed at the center of the thangka. His companions in the triad are Ushnishavijaya and White Tara, two manifestations of the Bodhisattva Tara. In the center of the thangka, Amitayus is depicted. He sits on a moon disk atop a lotus with his legs crossed in the vajra posture, hands resting in meditation gesture on his lap, holding a vessel filled with the nectar of immortality. His red body is adorned with jewels, in accordance with the iconography of Buddhas in the Sambhogakaya, the body of bliss. Below, Usnisavijaya and White Tara are depicted (from left to right).
