Mahakala with a white-colored body is known as Gonkar (Tibetan). In the thangka, he is depicted with a white body, one face, three eyes, six arms, and two legs. He is surrounded by five khadoma (Tibetan) or dakinis (Sanskrit), female deities with yellow and red bodies (above) and blue, white, and green bodies (below). Gonkar grants wealth, strength, and wisdom and is considered the protector of the Mongolian people.
