Hayagriva (Horse-Necked) is the deity of Buddhist tantras, included in the pantheon of all schools of Tibetan Buddhism. In the center of the thangka, Hayagriva is depicted with a red body, three faces, six arms, and eight legs. The central face is red, the right face is green, and the left face is white, each with three eyes. Above are Je Tsongkhapa with his students Gedundrup and Gyaltsap; below are White Tara and Khadiravani Tara.
