Bektse (Jamsaran) is a transcendent dharmapala (Sanskrit), depicted with a red body dressed as a Tibetan warrior. He is accompanied by his elder sister Rikpay Lhamo and the demon Sokdak Marpo, as well as eight other demons. Above Bektse is the Buddha Amitabha.
