The statuette possibly represents Priapus, the ancient deity, son of Dionysus and Aphrodite, who was regarded as the protector of fertility, livestock, fruits, and male genitalia. The figure is dressed in military attire, holding a shield in the left hand. The right hand, likely intended to hold a sword, is broken. The headpiece accentuates the exceptional status of the depicted figure, while the legs are partially broken.
