The image of the crown in various variations always accompanies the Torah scroll. Crowns are a complex, monumental work of jewelry art, made of silver using many techniques and materials. In addition, crowns could be decorated with gilding. An indispensable element of the crowns are hanging bells, the purpose of which was to accompany the ringing of the Torah scroll from the cabinet. Crowns were often decorated with Jewish religious symbols.
