Stefania Gebus-Baranetska (1905 - 1985) - Ukrainian artist, graphic artist, teacher. She studied at the art studio of O. Novakivskyi in Lviv.
In Soviet times, artists were expected to, in addition to their own projects, also depict events (past and present) from the point of view of class struggle, glorify the "cult of labor", "Soviet people" and the successes of communism, condemn religious organizations, the "rotten West" etc.
