Yevhen Beznisko (1937 - 2015) - Ukrainian graphic artist. He worked in the fields of easel and book graphics. Laureate of the Taras Shevchenko National Prize of Ukraine.
In Soviet times, artists were expected to, in addition to their own projects, also depict events (past and present) from the point of view of class struggle, glorify the "cult of labor", "Soviet people" and the successes of communism, condemn religious organizations, the "rotten West" etc.
