The red lacquered pottery features a geometric pattern of spheres and broken polygons across the surface of the bowl. The top is adorned with a relief plant ornament. Megarian bowls are a characteristic type of pottery that emerged in the ancient world, particularly in Greece, around the 7th to 4th centuries BCE. Their name comes from the Сity of Megara, where these items were widely distributed.
