The vessel has a cylindrical shape with a narrow neck and a flat base. The vessel is brown in color, and on the reverse side, a plant with short upward branches is depicted. The Vysotsko culture existed during the Early Iron Age (10th-7th centuries BCE). Its distribution covered the forest steppe region of Ukraine, particularly around the rivers Western Buh, Dnister, and Styr. The name “Vysotsko culture” derives from a burial site in the village of Vysotsko of Brody District of Lviv Region. It was identified by Polish archaeologist Tadeusz Sulimirski in 1931. The population engaged in agriculture, animal husbandry, and crafts, including wood processing, blacksmithing, and the production of flint tools.
