Round in shape with a wide cylindrical neck and a narrowed, concave bottom, the vessel is painted in a light brown color. In the central part, there are four series of embossed concentric circles, symbolizing the sun, with longitudinal grooves between them. The harvest was of great importance in the lives of the farmers, as it was for all agricultural communities; the depiction of the sun or solar symbols highlights the role of sunlight, light, and warmth in increasing yield. The Komariv culture is an archaeological culture dated to the late Bronze Age, widespread in the forest-steppe zone of Right-Bank Ukraine and northern Moldova. The name comes from a burial mound excavated by T. Sulimirskі in 1934–36 near the village of Komariv in Ivano-Frankivsk Region.
